SPONSOR A TREE
Forests for Futures is a project where people can sponsor a tree at the El Lugar resort. Earth requires trees to grow and thrive. Forests for Futures looks to protect trees from profiteering and exploitation. This is about creating a future where we live in communion with nature, being stewards of the earth. In doing that, we become conscious that every choice can be a contribution to us, our life, and nature.
A Ranger sponsor a younger tree, less than 10 years old. Your sponsorship will include an existing tree or planting a tree at El Lugar. The sponsor’s name will be added to the list of contributors at the entrance of the nature reserve. A different name can be used if you would like to sponsor the tree in honor of someone else.
The Ranger will also receive a digital certificate of sponsorship for their chosen tree.
The cost to be a Ranger is 500 Euro.
A Protector sponsors a more mature tree, older than ten years. Your sponsorship will include an existing tree or planting a tree at El Lugar. The sponsor’s name will be added to the list of contributors at the entrance of the nature reserve. A different name can be used if you would like to sponsor the tree in honor of someone else.
The Protector will also get a digital certificate of sponsorship for their chosen tree.
The cost to be a Protector is 1000 Euro.
A Steward sponsors an area of 10 square meters with a mixture of old and young trees. The trees will be planted at El Lugar and the sponsor’s name will be added to the list of contributors at the entrance of the nature reserve. A different name can be used if you would like to sponsor the tree in honor of someone else.
The Steward will also receive a digital certificate of sponsorship for their chosen tree.
The cost to be a Steward is 5000 Euro.
